Build it and they will come, that is what I believe about Class 5 Recreational Climbing Center, Indonesia's first full service indoor climbing center.
After a bit of researched, I realized I not only needed to build the place, but I also needed to find reliable and quality climbing gear companies that were willing to risk doing business in Indonesia with me. I contacted several rope companies, but after reviewing and dealing with each one, I settled on Roca Ropes from Spain.
Why Roca, simple, I believe in their product and I love climbing on their ropes. When I tie into a Roca rope or put on a Roca harness, I am reassured by a quality Spanish company that has been doing business for over 100 years.
Last week, while climbing with some out of town climbers, they asked me what rope I was climbing on. Like so many climbers, they wanted to know the details. I posted them below. While all the tech stuff is great, I have to admit, I selected my Roca because it's superior handling.
So, my current rope:
Roca Finger 10.2mm 60 meters long.
While this Rope is designed for sport climbing routes, I find it to be a great rope on all my climbing trips. I also own a smaller 9.9mm diameter from ROca, but the Finger is my general purpose line. The Finger combines lightness, durability and works fine in all semi automatic belay devices. Excellent for sport routes, crack climbing and big walls.
* For the Techies out there

diameter 10.2 mm
Numbers of falls 7
